The community was saddened to learn of the passing of Donna (nee Allan) Legacy on March 30, 2011 at the young age of 49. Donna was the daughter of Vina (Irvin) and Dick Allan who farmed in the Cotham district south of Dubuc.
Sympathy is extended to her husband, Al Legacy, of Dubuc; her son, Tyson and daughter, Sienna and Cameron Petruka, all of Grayson; her brothers: Rick Allan and Ken Allan, both of Dubuc and Doug (Skip) Allan from BC; her sisters: Jean Allan, Maple Ridge, BC; Lily (Irvin) and Dennis Hagen from Elbow; Pearl (Irvin) and Julio Gaudenzie, Sault Ste. Marie, ON; and many nieces and nephews.
She left us to join her parents, Dick and Vina and her sisters, Mabel Fern and Nellie (Walter) Lambie. Donna was a kind, thoughtful, loving person who always cared about others before worrying about herself.
Everyone who knew her will cherish the memories made while spending time with her. Family, friends and neighbours will dearly miss her. Prayers were held in Melville on Tuesday and the funeral service was held at the Dubuc Memorial Hall on Thursday, April 7.
