Andra Bawden spent a week holidaying with her grandparents, Murray & Irene Bawden. Dad Keith and brother Quinn made the trip from Calgary to give her a ride home. Keith, Andra and Quinn attended coffee row last Saturday and Keith was able to do a little hunting.
Speaking of hunting, there are quite a few red & orange suits around these days. Some reports of success and sounds like there will be deer and moose sausage in many deep freezes for winter eating. Also Charmaine at the BS Bar reports that many pots of soup, stew and chili have been consumed.
Aarick Hawes and his grandmother Irene Hawes have moved into the former John Kaczur acreage just north of town. Aarick just finished his electrician journeyman exams the same day he took possession of his new home. Congratulations,
We hope you enjoy living in our community. P.S. everyone can use an electrician for a neighbour.
Mervin and Hudson Andersen of Regina were at their "little house" for a few days while they did some hunting with Shane and Riley Talbot.
Welcome home to Deanna (Letestu) and her hubby Sean O'Neill from Morlach. They are currently staying at the Bernier Street Hotel, in her old bedroom, while working at the K3 mine site as carpenters. Deanna is the second of five daughters of Doris (now Krepakevitch) and the late Art Letestu who owned and operated the Hotel during the late 60's and 70's. She is enjoying the memories and catching up with everyone after 30 years.
