Oops! We apologize for incorrect reporting regarding " Jade (Stadel) is an RN at the Care Home in Esterhazy" It should be "Jade is an LPN at the Care Home in Esterhazy". We also wrote that Ellisha (Jason) Maki, Keely-Shay and her little 5 month old brother, Slade William, were all of Churchbridge. Our apologies! The Makis never lived in Churchbridge but formerly lived in Rocanville. After 5 years they moved back to Lanigan in September where they now reside. Not a good way to start out the New Year. We will try to keep errors out of our reporting for the rest of 2012.

Nineteen coffee drinkers enjoyed Saturday coffee row. Elaine and Ron Herperger of Atwater were out of town visitors. After a cup or two of coffee, everyone pitched in to help un-decorate The Hut after the Christmas holiday season. The job was done in no time thanks to all the willing workers who took a few minutes to help.

Sympathy of Dubuc community friends and neighbours go to former Larson District residents, Ronald and Marlene Zimmer of Balgonie, on the passing of Ron's father, Wenzel Zimmer. Wenzel died in Regina on Jan. 5 where he has lived since the passing of his wife, Lena, a couple years ago. Prayers were held in Grayson on Sunday evening followed by the funeral mass on Jan. 9, also at St. Mary's RC Church in Grayson. Condolences also to Ron and Marlene's daughters, Sherry, Kim, Amanda and their families and to the extended Zimmer family.

The monthly community potluck supper was held on Wednesday at The Hut. Twenty-six hungry persons showed up for a lovely array of delectable dishes. Peter Nielsen won the 50/50 draw and Ken Allan was the lucky door prize winner. Margie and Ed Oldham of Regina were down to check out their townhouse and were welcome out of town visitors at the supper.
