The 129th Yorkton Exhibition Summer Fair is this week, today through Saturday, at the Yorkton Exhibition Grounds.
Musical guests at the grandstand this year are Bif Naked (Wednesday night), Lee Aaron (Thursday), The Rebellion (Friday), and The Headpins (Friday). The GX94 Star Search finalists will provide entertainment on Saturday night in the final round of that competition.
Aboriginal hypnotist Scott Ward will perform multiple shows each day, along with a traveling High Dive show and Bowmanville Zoo demonstrations.
Livestock shows run each morning. Chuckwagon and chariot racing happens Wednesday through Friday, and standardbred harness racing is Saturday.
The Yorkton Exhibition Parade runs as usual on Saturday morning. It starts at 11:00 on Sixth Avenue and runs west down Broadway to Dalebrooke.
