The Yorkton Exhibition Summer Fair is happening this week from Wednesday to Saturday.
Featured entertainment at the fair this year includes Saskatchewan band Volcanoeless in Canada on Thursday night, Trooper on Friday, and the GX94 Star Search Finals on Saturday.
Motocross riders, lumberjacks, and science magician Freddy Fusion are among the entertainers performing multiple shows throughout the week. On the fairgrounds, visitors can look forward to two new rides this year.
The exhibition's livestock shows are back, including chuck wagon and chariot races on Wednesday through Friday. Between 70 and 80 wagons from Manitoba and Saskatchewan are expected.
This year's YEA Parade along Broadway happens at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The Summer Fair attracts more than 25,000 visitors each year.
