People lined Broadway Street in the city Saturday to take in the always popular Summer Fair Parade hosted by the Yorkton Exhibition Association. The event included the regular fare of a good parade, a pipe band, colourful floats, vintage cars, horses, and people handing out small gifts to the children. Of course the parade was not the only fun at the fair. West Coast Amusements provided the thrill of rides and games of chance, and the Painted Hand Casino Stage in front of the grandstand was the site of various entertainment shows including the comedian Big Daddy Tazz who performed Thursday.
