“When we discussed this issue at our board our whole group thought it was important we support the purchase of this microscope,” said Warren Kotzer. “This is truly a regional service and one we think it is important to maintain.”
Those remarks were reinforced by Ty Thorpe who pointed out that he talks with people almost daily in his pharmacy about eye issues. He said, “it is clear that maintaining the cataract surgery procedure in our local area and keeping our eye specialist is important for this region.”
“We are grateful for this donation and the strong support we have received from the Family and Friends Foundation over the years,” said Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation. “The support of community organizations is vital to our efforts to maintain the health services we have.”
