Riding Mountain National Park invites you to experience live music on the beach this summer with a free outdoor concert featuring Chad Brownlee and Leanne Pearson. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23 and will appeal to all ages.

Chad Brownlee, Canadian country singer/songwriter, is a 2013 Juno Nominee for country album of the year, CCMA Nominee for Male Artist of the year and 2011 CCMA rising star winner. Manitoba's own Leanne Pearson will open the show. Her style is influenced by pop/rock music with the right mix of attitude and cuteness.

In addition to the concert, the Wasagaming Chamber of Commerce will host the ever-popular pre-Halloween warm up "Boo in the Park." There is also the Parks Canada Zone, the popular activity area that features many learning and entertaining activities for anyone curious about nature and conservation.

Parks Canada supports Canada's National Conservation Plan (NCP) by taking practical action in the three priority areas of conserving Canada's lands and waters, restoring Canada's ecosystems, and connecting Canadians to nature. In addition, the ongoing work of Parks Canada contributes to NCP goals of encouraging local initiatives and partnerships that lead to tangible results.
