Numbers released today show that this year's 20th McHappy Day event raised more than $130,000 for Ronald McDonald House® Saskatchewan. The national fundraising event, held May 8th, was a resounding success. The funds raised by Saskatchewan McDonald's Restaurants and the local community will help all the families served by Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan as we grow and build a House to serve more Saskatchewan families.

"We're so grateful for the support we receive through this wonderful McHappy Day tradition and all year round from Saskatchewan McDonald's restaurants," said Tammy Forrester, Executive Director at Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan. "By celebrating this event, the province of Saskatchewan provides tremendous help to us in supporting families with of sick children."

Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan offers a "home-away-from-home" for families of critically ill children who are being treated in Saskatoon. As a non-profit organization, events like McHappy Day play a large role in providing Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan with the funds needed to support our House and the families we serve.
