Saltcoats District Regional Park was the site for this year’s Family Fun Day. Organized by Crystal Toth, the event was a fundraiser for the Park as well for Paws and Claws Animal Rescue Team. Among things available to do during the all-day function were slo-pitch baseball, disc golf, croquet, bouncy castles, bubble blowing and ping pong target. In addition, families could enjoy a BBQ lunch and get to know Alpacas. Young Samson Wallis, seen here, enjoyed going down the spiral slide near the beach area. The park was pleased to see families of all stages come out to enjoy Canada day in the outdoors. Fireworks on the beach ended the day at dusk.
