This photo circa 1950 shows Norman Roebuck, with George Dulmage seeding his small acreage farm located in the R.M. of Orkney. A portion of this land, which is within the boundaries of the Yorkton City limits, has been recognized a designated Heritage Property since year 2004. Under the leadership of Robert Kirkness, the dedication of the interpretive signage of the Dulmage Farmstead took place on June 24, 2007. Kirkness' opening remarks were: "It has taken the committee a number of years to research and design this high quality signage, in an attempt to preserve the history of the Dulmage farm activities, within the Ravine Ecological Preserve." We invite people to visit this unique tourist attraction on Broadway Street West, across from Deer Park Golf Course.
