The Special Olympics Parkland Valley (serving Yorkton and Area) is endeavoring to increase the community recreational athletic programming for individuals with intellectual disabilities in our region.
At present, with the support of volunteer coaches and a volunteer board, Special Olympics Parkland Valley is providing athletes programming in bowling, bocce ball, and snowshoe. Via a new partnership with Storm Swimming,.
Special Olympics swimming will be offered this year to our athletes in an inclusive environment. With the increased costs to run additional programs, as well as additional athlete registrations, we are requesting support from our community.
