Yorkton was one of 80 communities across Canada to participate in TD Tree Days. For the second year, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation hosted the events which provide the opportunity for TD employees, their family, friends and community members to become involved with projects that benefit the environment. Saturday local TD volunteers, the Yorkton District Girl Guides (Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders, Guiders), and their family members, and park residents helped plant 50 trees at York Lake Regional Park.
