Chris Stoubis and Ted Karacholias of Melrose Place, presented a cheque for $2,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation. The donation will assist paying for the conceptual plan for a new regional hospital.

"A hospital is something that is very important to everyone in the community, and having a new modern hospital is a very important issue for everyone in our community. We have thousands of customers throughout this region that use the regional hospital here in Yorkton", said Chris Stoubis, and we think a new regional hospital will benefit the people we work with and everyone else living in this area and that's why we are making a donation to support planning a new regional hospital.

"Healthcare affects everyone, and sooner or later we all need the healthcare system. You hope you don't need the health system, but eventually we all do; and when you do need it you want to have the best healthcare possible," continued Mr. Stoubis.

"We are really glad to receive this donation, it is very much appreciated," said Ross Fisher. Chris and Iris Stoubis and Ted and Ritsa Karacholias and their families have been strong supporters of the work of The Health Foundation, and we are really pleased to see them continue that support.

Melrose Place is the 60th business to make a donation to the conceptual plan.

The Health Foundation is seeking to have 100 businesses from throughout the region contribute to the cost of the conceptual plan.
