Craig Mehling, Area Manager for Commercial Banking for BMO, presented a cheque for $1,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation, to help fund the purchase of the new equipment. "We are really pleased to make this donation and assist The Health Foundation in raising the money they need to purchase new ultrasound equipment. Buying equipment like this is about speeding up access to healthcare for the residents of this region; it is about making sure the tests they need are available locally," said Mr. Mehling. "That is about improving our local healthcare and quality of life, and certainly something that Bank of Montreal supports. "We really appreciate this donation and the continuing support of Bank of Montreal. The purchase of this equipment will help us to significantly reduce the wait times of people needing ultrasound exams. Sometimes it is very important to have the diagnosis of a medical condition very early; buying this equipment will help that," said Mr. Fisher.
