Residents and staff will soon return to the Invermay Health Centre.
Interior work in the resident areas is slated for completion by end of September, noted a report presented to the September meeting of the Sunrise Health Board held last Wednesday.
That will allow re-occupancy in mid-October, said Region president and CEO Suann Laurent.
"All residents are moving back. All staff are moving back," she said.
Work was undertaken at the facility after a staff member noticed a structural change in the floor on Jan. 17.
A structural engineer was brought into investigate and found out there was an issue with air quality in that crawl space in the affected area.
The air quality concern led to having air quality equipment brought in which identified quality issues throughout the facility, and while levels were not considered dangerous to staff and residents, the SHR decided to move residents and staff as further work was undertaken.
"There was some really hard work there," said Laurent.
Work on the exterior and area that houses visiting services will continue in October, with visiting services returning to the facility in November.
Work at "Canora Gateway Lodge Beam Repair was delayed due to lack of response to the project tender. The tender has been split and is in the process of obtaining quotes on various components of the repairs in order to move the project ahead to ensure that this work gets done before winter arrives," noted the circulated report.
Laurant said the Canora plan remains "on target to be done before winter."
