The Saskatchewan RCMP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding last Friday’s collision involving the Humboldt Broncos team bus that tragically claimed 16 lives and injured 13 others.
Our thoughts continue to be with the families and friends of the victims, the community of Humboldt and the Humboldt Broncos hockey club.
Saskatchewan RCMP continue to dedicate significant resources to ensure a thorough investigation. Investigations such as this can take significant time, however we have dedicated the necessary resources to ensure this investigation can be done as expediently as possible.
Dozens of interviews have been conducted with more still to come. Vehicle computer data is being recovered and analyzed. A team of Traffic Reconstruction Specialists continue to work on the investigation.
The RCMP states it appreciates the high level of public interest in this case and are committed to ensuring the public and the media are kept informed as the investigation progresses.
