As the weather plunged to -39 degrees with wind chill over the weekend, more and more people opted to stay inside the house where the biting cold could not follow. Those who wanted to enjoy the season without catching frostbite made their way to the Gallagher Centre on Sunday for their evening free skate. In addition, a detailed snow sculpture may be seen on Laurier Avenue, complete with its own spotlight.
