The Yorkton Cardinals wrapped up the 2013 Western Major Baseball League season with a win over rival Melville Monday at Jubilee Park thanks to a walk-off home run by centrefielder Liam Goodall. In spite of the win Monday giving Yorkton a four-game winning streak to end the regular season, the Cardinals missed the playoffs for the fourth straight year.
