Pencil Paparazzi is a captivating collection of black and white portraits drawn from crowds at pow wows, motorcycle rallies, car shows & other gatherings by local artist, Lynn Strendin. Our "portrait gallery" is home to these subjects from now through January. Meet and Greet The Artist on Sun., Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. and share thematic eats and treats. Open during regular hours at Yorkton Public Library, Pencil Paparazzi is an engaging attraction for young and old alike.

The Yorkton Film Festival and the Yorkton Public Library are jointly sponsoring Open Cinema with Elwyn Vermette. The event slated for Tues., Jan. 14, at 7:00 at the library, will take for its theme, "The Love of Animation."
