Yorkton,  November 30 – The Knights of Columbus #2031 presented a cheque for $1,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director, of The Health Foundation, to assist with purchasing a new CT scanner. Presenting the cheque was Grand Knight Ted Osicki and Treasurer Henry Kweens.

“We have made donations to most of The Health Foundations major fundraising campaigns,” said Grand Knight Ted Osicki. “Healthcare affects all of us and usually The Health Foundation is raising money for equipment that will make a significant difference to our local healthcare. The CT scanner is like that, it’s obvious we need this equipment in the regional hospital and our members felt we should contribute.”

“We are very pleased to receive this donation and very grateful for the continuing support of the Knights of Columbus #2031, said Ross Fisher. We couldn’t accomplish much of our work without the strong support we receive from community organizations throughout the health region.”
