Melvin Dale Koroluk made his second appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court on Monday to face charges of assault, kidnapping, and unsafe storage of firearms.

Koroluk, 57, is accused of abducting an 11-year-old girl at the Yorkton Exhibition in July. The girl, who
escaped unharmed, later identified Koroluk as the man who lured her into a vehicle and drove her out of the city on the first day of the exhibition.

Under his release conditions, Koroluk can only leave his home in the company of one of two family members. At his August 15 appearance, these conditions were amended to allow him out in the presence of a third family member, Larry Koroluk.

Koroluk's other matters before the court that day were adjourned until September 19.
