Student's Day, presented by the National Film Board of Canada, was held Thursday at Sacred Heart High School as part of the annual Yorkton Film Festival. The day, which featured a full day workshop for emerging high school filmmakers, attracted nearly 70 students from both Sacred Heart High School and Yorkton Regional High School as well as schools in Leader, Saskatoon and Regina. The day's activities were also broadcast via the Internet to two other schools as a sort of pilot project which could see 2013 go to all schools in the province with a film program..
