Parkland College is pleased to announce a partnership with the University of Saskatchewan to offer its Master of Nursing degree program in Yorkton. A cohort will begin in January 2013 and conclude in June 2015.
This Master of Nursing program allows local nurses to participate in meaningful professional development in their community, while avoiding the inconvenience of having to leave work or home.
"Nurses can participate in a master's program and, at the same time, continue with their day-to-day work and personal activities," said Gwen Machnee, University Program Coordinator at Parkland College. "Participants in this program benefit from being part of a group of colleagues who move through the program together and learn from each other without having to drive to the big city."
Representatives from the University of Saskatchewan are scheduled to present details about the program at an information session at Parkland College's Yorkton campus on March 15. Members of the public are invited to attend the information session at:
Parkland College (Room 101), 200 Prystai Way, Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Thursday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m.
