Saltcoats Seniors host regular Monday morning coffee time open at 9:00 a.m. The monthly noon pot luck luncheon is on Oct. 17 and all are welcome. The Seniors Yorkton Handi Bus run leaves the Town Office at 9:00 a.m. on Thurs., Oct. 27 and is usually back just after 1:00 p.m. The monthly Bingo is at 1:30 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 26 (last Thursday of every month).
The October birthday cake and coffee (anyone, all ages, with a birthday this month is welcome) is Mon., Oct. at 3:00 p.m. in the Stirling Room.
Saltcoats Anglican Church is holding a Basement Sale on Sat., Oct. 22 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The coffee's on and there is sure to be something for everyone! On Tues., Nov. 1, there will be a guest speaker, Gene Packwood of Medicine Hat, at a Pot Luck supper in the lower hall of St. Augustine's. All are welcome.
The annual Craft Sale and Trade Show, sponsored by Saltcoats Anglican Church will be Sat., Oct. 5 at the Saltcoats Town Hall. The event opens at 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be chili on a bun at noon for $6.00. To book tables at $15.00 call Jean at 306-744-2217. Saltcoats Minor Sports will hold a Halloween Costume Consignment sale on Sat., Oct. 15 at the Saltcoats Skating Arena from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All costumes should be $10.00 or under. The fundraiser part is that Minor Sports gets $2.00 a costume. Each costume must be pinned with envelope stating name, phone number and cost. Any unmarked costumes will automatically be donated. Costumes may be dropped off at the drop box at Town of Saltcoats or contact Alicia Harmon at 306-744-2908.
