A Yorkton man is facing charges related to four robberies at businesses in Yorkton, Melville and Ituna.
Chris Chernoff, 43, appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on January 16 with 12 charges. He is accused of two robberies in Yorkton, on November 16 and 22, one robbery in Melville on November 28 and one in Ituna on January 5.
Charges include: Four counts, robbery, section 344 of the Criminal Code. Three counts, disguise with intent, section 351(2) of the Criminal Code.
Two counts, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, section 88 of the Criminal Code. One count, possession of property obtained by crime, section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.
One count, possession of a substance, fentanyl, section 4(1) of the CDSA. One count, possession of a substance, hydromorphone, section 4(1) of the CDSA.
Chernoff will next appear in court on January 19.
