A 51-year-old Yorkton man remains in hospital following being hit by a car on Saturday.
In the early hours of February 21, City RCMP, Fire Protective Services and EMS were responded to a single vehicle versus pedestrian collision at the intersection of Queen Street and Sunset Gate.
A westbound four-door car struck a 51 year-old male pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to Yorkton Regional Hospital classified as in critical condition.
He was later airlifted to Regina by STARS air ambulance.
The driver of the car was not injured and charges are not being considered against the driver. Alcohol was not a factor. No names are being released at this time.
