The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Female Student of the Month for May is Emily Kohlert. Emily is a grade 12 student who has been involved in band, jazz band, choir, vocal jazz, the school musicals, guitar club, and marching band. All throughout high school she has been on the honor roll.In her spare time, she enjoys playing piano and singing, writing songs, photography, art, and spending time with friends. Emily's achievements this year include the first annual Photography Award and the Art Award for 2011. She has won numerous Music Festival awards and scholarships and has passed her Grade Nine CNCM Piano exam. Congratulations Emily!
The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Male Student of the Month for May is Blaze Davie. Blaze is a grade 12 student who has been involved in curling throughout high school, volleyball for grade 9 through 11 and competed in Skills Canada at the electrical competition for the last 2 years. Blaze has maintained an honor roll average throughout his high school career. Outside of school Blaze has played on the Melville Midget AA baseball team. Blaze has also worked at Heart Land Livestock for the past year and a half. After graduation Blaze plans on becoming an electrician and ranching cattle. Congratulations Blaze!
