McHappy Day

This year’s McHappy Day event raised more than $3,160 locally for Ronald McDonald House Charities® Saskatchewan. The national fundraising event, held May 6th, was a resounding success. The funds raised by Yorkton McDonald’s Restaurants and the local community will help all the families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities as we provide a home for families with children being treated at a nearby hospital.

“We’re so grateful for the support we receive on McHappy Day and all year round from Yorkton McDonald’s restaurants,” said Tammy Forrester, Executive Director at Ronald McDonald House Charities. “By celebrating this event, the community, joins our amazing partners at McDonald’s, to provide tremendous help to us in supporting families with sick children.”

Ronald McDonald House offers a home for families of critically ill children who are being treated at Royal University Hospital.

As a non-profit organization, events like McHappy Day play a large role in providing Ronald McDonald House with the funds needed to support our House and the families we serve.
