Between October 21 and 23, unknown person(s) set fire to approximately 216 bales located southeast of Yorkton near Rokeby.

Arson in Kamsack
On October 17 at approximately 10:40 am, members of the Kamsack RCMP along with the Kamsack Volunteer Fire Department were called to a house fire at 203 Park Street in Kamsack. The house, which was unoccupied at the time of the fire, was determined to be intentionally set. The house suffered extensive damage.
Follow-up investigation by Kamsack RCMP with assistance from a fire scene examiner has resulted in two youths being arrested and charged with arson. Both youths have been released from custody and will be appearing in Kamsack Youth Court. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
