National Aboriginal Day celebrated

This year's National Aboriginal Day celebrations on June 21 were held at Yorkton's Painted Hand Casino. Organized by the Yorkton Tribal Council, the day's festivities included music, games, dance demonstrations, free food, and a tipi raising.

National Aboriginal Day was introduced in 1996 to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Canada's diverse First Nations cultures.
