Neverest and Alyssa Reid have joined forces for a MuchMusic presented Canadian Tour this fall.
Neverest have just completed the sold out Canadian leg of the Backsteet Boys and New Kids On The Block tour, and Alyssa who earned the #1 most played Canadian single with "Alone Again" will co-headline this 21 Canadian venture.
Neverest's debut EP has produced the singles, "About Us" reaching #2 on All Canadian Singles Airplay charts and "Everything" earning the group a 2011 Much Video nomination for the #1 video while Alyssa Reid entered the music scene with her pop radio hit, "Alone Again". The platinum selling single was the #1 most plated song in the country by a Canadian artist for an impressive 15 straight weeks.
18 year-old Reid broke the record for most weeks topping the Billboard's Canadian Emerging Artist chart with 25 and hit #1 on Much. Her follow up single, "The Game" was the #1 most added song on Top 40 Radio. "It's intense the ability to touch so many people. You don't see it from radio until the crowds in front of you", explained Reid. "It's a lot of pressure. I'm a teenager and already so emotional". After entering contests and showcases Alyssa was discovered from a You Tube video and since entertained crowds of all ages. "I've been sent videos of people at work in the office dancing to my songs", added Reid. "People are surprised by my performance because I write my own music, play piano and guitar".
