"A Fading Light: 25 Years of Photography at SIAST" Jan. 10 to Feb. 12, 2012. 25 Saskatchewan photographers commemorate the SIAST program with portraiture, documentary, commercial and fine art work. The program was closed in 2011.
"Mixed Messages, Fragmented Stories" Jan. 15 to Feb. 5, 2012. Holly Hildebrand weaves personal objects and domestic stories into large textile works.
"Words & Wanderlust" On now through February, Regina artist Louise Tessier combines heart felt travel photography with poetic quotes.

Ski Around the World with the Yorkton Cross Country Ski Club (YCCSC) at Deer Park Golf Course on Sun., Jan. 29. Basic instruction and refresher course on how to ski starting @ 1 p.m. Trail ski to follow. We'll ski from station to station (6) along our beautiful, well groomed trails and pick up miniature flags along the way (one flag per skier from each station). When we get back to our warm clubhouse, you'll locate the countries on the world map and pin your flags on the countries. Optional: Wear a hat, scarf, pin, flag or costume from a country of your choice. Deluxe barbecued hot dogs with drinks available for sale. All proceeds to go to our trail grooming equipment fund. Washroom available.

Yorkton Bowl Arena is teaming up with select bowling centres across the country as the Canadian bowling community gets into the fight for life and fights back against cancer. The Knockdown Cancer campaign aims to bring awareness of cancer and cancer prevention to our communities and to encourage everyone to join the fight for life. Throughout the month of January Yorkton Bowl Arena will be donating 25 cents from every paid shoe rental to the Canadian Cancer Society in the First Annual Knockdown Cancer Campaign.
