It will be costing a bit more when requesting some information from the city.
At its regular meeting Monday Yorkton Council upped the fees for certain public information.
The first charge is the charge for the new Official Community Plan. As this document is substantially more detailed and the cost to produce it is higher than our previous Development Plan we are looking to increase the price from $25.00 to $50.00, explained Shannon Bell, Director of Finance in making the Administrative request
The next charge that we want to change is in regards to the charge for verbal Tax Inquiries.
Previously we charged $10.00, however in order to prove validity of information provided and to record who the information was provided to, it is deemed desirable to provide such information in writing, she continued adding since the information is provided in writing, the word 'verbal' was being eliminated from the policy.
The changes passed unanimously.
