The Parkland College, Christ the Teacher Catholic School Division and Good Spirit School Division were partners in Career Explorations 2017, which saw 2,000 students from across the two school divisions assemble in the Gallagher Centre FlexiHall to see over 80 education and career opportunities from across western Canada and into North Dakota. YRHS students Jackson Berezowski and Evan Matatall took the chance to try on firefighting equipment at the Parkland College booth, and agreed that the event gave them an opportunity to see what was out there for careers and take a close look at their options.
