Brain injury is the number one cause of death and disability among children and youth. Each year, 2200 brain injuries occur in the province.

To raise awareness of this preventable epidemic, the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association (SBIA) will hold the 9th Annual Positive Steps Walk-a-thon to be held on September 10th in Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Yorkton. It will also raise funds to enhance the quality of life for those living with an acquired brain injury and their families.

Form a team with your friends, family or co-workers to walk, run or wheel in support of brain injury survivors. The highest pledge earner in the province will be rewarded with a grand prize of two tickets donated by Westjet!

The walk takes place in Yorkton at the Gloria Hayden Community Center with Registration at 10:00 a.m and the Walk at 10:30 a.m. Registration forms and Pledge sheets can be downloaded from our website at www.sbia.ca
