A close-up look at an architecturally attractive building of days gone by. It stood at #17 on Third Avenue South, beside the back alley just across the street of the present day Liquor Store. All the buildings on that street were owned by Harry Bronfman, built in 1918-1919. In a 1923 photo the name is changed to the Allen Theatre. Later, it was known as the York Theatre, and demolished all too soon in 1965, it being only 46 years old!
