On September 11, 2012, inmate Kevin Masuskapoe was discovered missing during the Riverbend Institution 9:30 p.m. count. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) immediately contacted the Prince Albert Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Kevin Masuskapoe, 38-years-old, is described as 173 cm (5'8") in height, his weight is 94 Kg (208 lbs), he has brown eyes and black hair, and has a tattoo on his right arm. He is currently serving a 15-year, 3-month, 12-day sentence for Break and Enter with Intent, Break, Enter and Commit, Obstruction of Public/Peace Officer, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime - Under, Escape Lawful Custody, Theft Over and Theft Under.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kevin Masuskapoe is asked to contact police.
CSC and Riverbend Institution will be conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident and are working with the Prince Albert Police Service and RCMP to locate this offender as quickly as possible.
CSC has given the police all available information to assist in the inmate's apprehension.
