The clean up and repair of the train derailment 8 Km southeast of Kelliher near Highway #15 is ongoing. CN Rail estimates that the track will be operational between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. today.
The train derailment did not result in injuries. There were no dangerous goods involved. CN Police and CN supervisory staff remain on-scene supervising the track repair and clean up.
Motorists are asked to use caution when travelling in the vicinity of the incident, and be aware of the considerable number of personnel working near the area. The highway remains open, but motorists are asked to adhere to cautionary signage.
