Rainy Relay for Life in Yorkton

Though it rained, 60 survivors, 26 teams and 211 other participants all marched around the Century Field track in the 5th annual Relay for Life. The Royal Canadian Legion started the 12 hour relay Friday evening.

Cancer Relay
The relay continued on into the night, reflecting a cancer patient’s journey into the “dark” stage. A luminary ceremony was held at ten, lighting candles along the track in memory of those who have passed on from the disease. The relay ended at seven a.m. Saturday morning.Michaela Miller
