Yorkton Co-op is pleased to announce that Hugh Charles and Brandon West of the Saskatchewan Roughriders will be making an appearance at the Yorkton Co-op Food Store on October 4, 2011. From 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Hugh and Brandon will be here to sign autographs and provide photo opportunities.
Yorkton Minor Football will be holding a hot dog BBQ to help raise funds for the upcoming season. They will be giving away a Brandon West and a Hugh Charles jersey to 2 lucky winners.
Enter your name in the draw barrel to win a Saskatchewan Roughrider BBQ or numerous other Roughrider merchandise items. COOPER will be on-site and will be giving away items for the kids. "It's going to be a huge event for our community" says Bruce Thurston, General Manager of the Co-op and event organizer.
"It's not very often that you get the opportunity to get this close to these players, let alone get something autographed by them" added Thurston.
The festivities get underway at 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and it will be a huge Tailgate Party. The event also coincides with Yorkton Co-op's Double Scratch-N-Save event where you can save from 10% to 50% off your grocery purchases.
Yorkton Co-op will also be donating $500 to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan, a charitable organization supported by both the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club and Federated Co-operatives Limited.
