Sacred Heart High School Principal Chad Holinaty will be Christ the Teacher Catholic Schools' new superintendent of education at the end of this school year.
The superintendent of education is a newly created position whose exact duties are still being decided, said Holinaty.
"It's certainly going to involve some teacher supervision. It'll involve some of the oversight of staff and some of the student services."
Holinaty, who has a master's degree in educational administration, has twenty years of teaching and administrative experience.
"I believe our system is an exciting one," he said. "It's a great place to work, and I'm looking forward to the transition to a new way to serve."
Holinaty starts his new job on August 1.
