Honourable Minister Donna Harpauer has declared the week of January 19-25 Snowmobile Safety Week in Saskatchewan. Here at the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association, Snowmobile Safety is a top priority and education is the key to success. Although Safety is always the top priority when operating a snowmobile, we ask that snowmobilers across Saskatchewan take the time this week to educate themselves, and relay the importance of safety to their family and friends.

Anyone operating a snowmobile that was born on or after January 1, 1989 must have a Snowmobile Safety Certificate. Without one, you are subject to fines under the Snowmobile Safety Act and your insurance may be invalid. We offer two options for the Snowmobile Safety Course, online training as well as Classroom training. The Online training is also available for individuals aged 12 years and up for a fee of $45.00 per student, this course can be completed at the trainee's own pace and in the comfort of their own home. Classroom training is also available around the province at a fee of $75.00 per student or at a family rate of $150.00 for three or more students. Scheduled dates and locations are listed on our website with the ability for you to register and pay online. We believe that snowmobiler's of every age can benefit from taking a snowmobile course and are confident that you will receive the tips and training you need to be safe this snowmobiling season as well as many more to come.
