The November musical evening at St. Augustine's had a rollicking good time with the presence of Audrey as the pieces were reminiscence of her rhythm and fun. Wed., Dec. 18 at 7:00 p.m. is another musical evening with Christmas seasonal pieces. Some usual and others we've picked up along the way. If you can't get enough Christmas singing, come on along.

Saltcoats Library extends appreciation to all who in any way, made the noon luncheon the success it was. The door prize winner was M or E. Silveria. Note that the regular fundraiser Christmas Hamper raffle tickets are on sale and the draw to be made Thurs., Dec. 19.

Saltcoats United Church Joint Pastoral charge service is Sun., Dec. 22 at 10:00 a.m. in Bredenbury. Note that Sunday School for Dec. is Sunday the 15th at 10:30 a.m. Christmas Eve Worship is at 9:00 p.m. and there is no service on Dec. 29.

Spirit of Christmas in Carols at Saltcoats Hall had Kim Salo giving opening message as well as being the M. C. Connie Taylor and Linda Datema sang their harmony with Ruth Datema, the accompanist. Katie Morgan had guitar players; Ester Morgan, Theresa Laycock, Linda Datema and Carla Laycock on piano as musicians. Trinity Wagner sang as well as Haley Watrych and then they did a duet. Tammie and Doug Geeves of Yorkton sang a cappella. Churchbridge Anglican Church choir were accompanied by Myrna Jensen. Ron Mailman of Yorkton Salvation Army entertained with several great pieces. A guitar duet by Joel Korolski and Cathy Wilson was greatly appreciated. Cathy sang a moving seasonal song a cappella. Connie and Linda sang a blessing as their 2nd rendition. Len Cameron gave the closing. The door prize winner, Val Trowell took home a chocolate Nativity courtesy the Parkland Branch Order of St. Luke healing ministry.

Jim and Phyllis McCallum drove with Heidi and Trent of Weyburn to attend Kendra's convocation in Edmonton. She received her Master's Degree in Physiology. On the way they stopped in Saskatoon to visit Mitchell and Marissa at U of S.
