A big thank you to the willing hands that stacked tables and chairs after a great "Culture Day" at Saltcoats Hall.

A big thank you to the willing hands that stacked tables and chairs after a great "Culture Day" at Saltcoats Hall. Participants really appreciated peoples sharing of Royalty treasures such as the Queen Victoria china and the "3 kings in on Year" plate as well as the thank you letter of loyalty received by community centenarian from Buckingham Palace. A bouquet to Saltcoats Museum for the excellent cutural food! Those in attendance appreciated hands on games, fish pond courtesy of St. Augustine's, Yellowhead Flyway information, Town of Saltcoats information and the Welcome Wagon bags for newcomers. Real cultural treats were Joan Farquharson's spinning (she actually let you try) and Ruth Partridge with her quilting display and willingness to share ideas and expertise. The venue and displays were ably spearheaded by Saltcoats Library with the Museum looking after the food end. Is this partnership of such a good community day going to be repeated?
