Mark your calendars for Sun., Dec. 7. "Spirit of Christmas in Carols". The event is at 1:30 p.m. and held at the Saltcoats and District Community Hall. Free will offering at the door goes to the Town of Saltcoats and "Thank You" goes to the same for the use of the facility for this community Christmas annual gathering. Donations of Christmas cookies are appreciated for coffee time. St. Augustine's Anglican Church is pleased to organize this public service.
Saltcoats United Church Office phone is 306-744-2952 and is open Mondays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. On Tuesdays the office is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon, a half day. Worship at Saltcoats on Sun., Nov. 23 is at 9:30 a.m. There is no service on Nov. 30. Sunday School for Nov. is from 10:30 to 12:00 on Sun., Nov. 23. Contact Michelle 306-744-2327 for information.
Saltcoats and District recreation Board recent meeting dispersed the Community Lottery Grant in the following way: Saltcoats Regional Park $600.00, Saltcoats School $3,269.00, Saltcoats Curling Club $1,265.00, Minor Sports $500.00, Laketown Leaders $150.00, Preschool Playschool $200.00, Daycare $200.00, Saltcoats Library $400.00 the total funds of $6,585.00 are based on the population of the Town and RM.
