The Monthly Birthday is 3:00 p.m. in the Stirling Room with coffee and cake on Monday, July 25. If you have a birthday this month, we welcome all ages.
The next Pot Luck noon luncheon is Monday, August 18 at the Stirling Room. This is an open event for everyone to add something to the "pot" and enjoy together. The donation basket is set out to help defray regular costs.
The Laketown Leaders have undertaken a monthly Bingo on the last Thursday of each month (July 28). This event is set up for fun and not intended to be professionally run or compared to other bingo that you might experience. The seniors run a maximum 10 games with the last one a jackpot. The cards are 25 cents each and 25 cents a game with prizes of share the wealth. Come for an afternoon of fun.
Saltcoats United church worship on July 24 is at 9:00 a.m. but remember the July 31 Sunday worship joins the McCallum Reunion at Saltcoats Regional Park at 10:30 a.m. Bring a lawn chair and join in for coffee after.
Saltcoats Library "Summer Splash" summer reading program has prizes, crafts and fun every Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Children from K to 10 years of age are welcome to come along.
The Beautification Committee welcome anyone willing to help out with the summer weeding. Please call Gerri at 306-744-2969. Enjoy this great weather and take a walk through the Arboreteum, Century Garden or relax on a bench at Gunn Park.
Anglican worship is at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays followed by coffee and fellowship time. The July 31 service will be a Baptism at 9:00 a.m. and the Deanery Service will be in Canora at 11:00 a.m. followed by pot blessing.
