Attendance was sparse at the first-ever Yorkton Mature Lifestyles Expo at the Gallagher Centre on May 22 and 23. Representatives of the Yorkton Exhibition Association, which organized the midweek trade show, did not respond by press time to inquiries about the event's turnout and future. Registered nurse Millie Sharp speaks to a small crowd of seniors about advanced care planning and end-of-life issues at one of the show's scheduled seminars.

In a demonstration on the trade show floor on Tuesday afternoon, YRHS students Mike Kozushka, Rachael Machnee, and Taylor Pachal show off the robots they built in the school's robotics club. Kozushka's SUMObot won gold at a provincial SIAST competition in March, while the robot built by Machnee and Pachal's team recently won national gold at Skills Canada.
