Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS. The selection is based on: Demonstrating Christian Values, School work, School Involvement, Leadership, and Community Involvement.
Kaitlin is the type of person who reaches out to students by either saying a simple Hello, or just by having a chat. If someone is having trouble with something, she will help them out. Kaitlin tries her hardest in all her classes, she is in AP math and English and has a great work ethic. In school Kaitlin is the central defender for soccer, a setter for the volleyball team, plays badminton, is in the musical cast and is a member of UROCK. Kaitlin helps to carry her soccer team with her awesome sportsmanship and ability. She also participates in school masses.
Chris is always willing to help others and to get involved. He is the number one fan at all Saints sporting events, bringing his semi horn with him. Chris can be found sitting out in the cold to support our school teams and even travels to attend out of town games. He makes crowds lively and gives detailed play by play action with live tweets and suspenseful phone calls. Chris is on the honour roll and works hard to achieve this success, even sending tweets about late night homework and adventures. He works the lights, music and sound at school assemblies, masses and helps with this at elementary Christmas concerts as well. Chris always takes initiative and is responsible and very easy to count on. He attends St. Gerard's Parish also.
