Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month.
Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS. The selection is based on: Demonstrating Christian Values, School work, School Involvement, Leadership, and Community Involvement.
Kaylee is very kind and friendly. She puts her family before herself. She is a positive role model for younger people and a quiet leader. Kaylee is in AP English, hates being late, finishes all her assignments on time, tries her best and maintains a 90% average and is on the honour roll with Distinction. She is a member of U.R.O.C.K., music ministry, SRC (as the grade 9 rep), jazz band, drama, musical, curling, basketball, soccer and floor hockey. Her leadership shines on the SRC and as a coach for indoor soccer. In the community, you can find Kaylee in junior curling, playing both indoor and outdoor soccer with Yorkton United, playing piano and participating at music festival.
Renee has an amazing smile and always thinks of ways to benefit others. She does not participate in activities to gain a title or recognition, she participates because she has a huge heart. Renee is a remarkable student with a 90% plus average. She is very intelligent and is a favourite of any teacher. Renee is involved in UROCK, a social rep for the SRC, a cornerstone of musical and drama, and shares her amazing voice humbly and obediently. Renee is not afraid to take a stand whenever there is a call for leadership and readily takes charge of any situation with a happy and humble heart. She is also a member of Y.U.M.M.Y.
Tyler excels at anything he picks up. He would never say no to anything that would benefit another. Tyler genuinely cares for everyone around him and is very obedient to his parents. He is blessed with natural intelligence and has an undying thirst for knowledge. He is very passionate and dedicated to his school work. Tyler is in both AP math and English, is on the honour roll with Distinction. He is an asset to any classroom and is there to offer help. Tyler is very involved in school being captain of the volleyball team, in drama, musical, U.R.O.C.K., Saint of the Month committee, and outdoor ed. Tyler leads a healthy, proactive lifestyle and positively influences everyone around him. He is an obvious leader in school and as soon as he enters a room is asked to take charge and share his opinion. Tyler is a very well spoken individual. He is a member of Y.U.M.M.Y. and attends Prairie Harvest Christian Life Centre faithfully. Congratulations to Kaylee Ford, Renee Digout and Tyler Pindus for winning Saint of the Month for April.
